Accreditation

Dakota State University was accepted into the Higher Learning Commission’s Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) in February 2005.

Dakota State University’s participation in AQIP reflects an ongoing commitment to applying continuous improvement principles and processes to higher education and to organizational learning and development. For DSU, applying for participation in the AQIP accreditation process was a natural outgrowth of its strong commitment to and culture of institutional improvement.

The AQIP accreditation process is being blended to work in tandem and harmony with DSU’s existing strategic planning and project review processes and provides an improvement framework that focuses on data analysis and the achievement of its published goals and objectives.
