The Merrill Hunter Award for Excellence in Research

The primary characteristic by which the nomination will be judged will be an extraordinary dedication to research, scholarship, or creative activities, which should be demonstrated by excellence in the following areas:

Scholarly/creative contributions to a specific discipline;
Contributions to the promotion of an intellectual and scholarly climate at the institution;
Impact on the involvement of students in the research and/or creative process;
