The Ernest M. Teagarden Award for Excellence in Teaching

The primary characteristic by which the nomination will be judged will be an extraordinary dedication to teaching and related areas such as librarianship, which should be demonstrated by excellence in the following areas:

  • Impact on and involvement with students including unique approaches to motivating student achievement;
  • Scholarly approach to teaching and learning with particular emphasis on integration of technology;
  • Contributions to the educational environment at the institution;
