Wayne E. Pauli, Ph.D.

Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by. Wayne Pauli here, and to tell you the truth, I came to DSU in 1998 for an education and stayed for a career. If you like campuses, where faculty and staff as well as the student body will actually know you, then you are looking in the right place. A community of 6500 people surrounds our beautiful campus. On this campus you will find a great environment to learn and grow as a young adult. You will be given every opportunity to succeed in your selected academic program, and at the same time your life will be enriched with the use of technology.

As I stated earlier, I came to DSU and the community of Madison in 1998, I completed the Masters in Information Systems and then began working as a faculty member in the College of Business and Information Systems. I am a South Dakota native, and have also spent many years living in Minnesota. DSU is in my family blood, as my wife and youngest son are also employed at DSU, and all three of my children completed degrees at DSU since 2002.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not the campus computer geek, but I am a lover of technology. Rest assured that your life will be impacted by technology, and I happen to believe that if we can help shape the use of it to make our lives better, then this is a noble cause to serve. Do you want to join me in this endeavor? I hope so, as I could sure use the help. Dakota State University embraces technology as a tool for not only education, but for life skills. Some colleges advertise that if you attend their school that you can go anywhere from here. My thinking is why bother, at Dakota State University anywhere is right at your fingertips. Stop by and take a look, I think you will like what you see.
