Welcome to Dakota State University's Alcohol & Other Drug Office. Our office is located in the Underground facility on the lower level of the Trojan (Student) Center on the Dakota State University campus.
Office hours
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm,
mid-August through mid-May, each school year.
The Alcohol & Other Drug Office was founded in 1996 following a year of research and planning with student and staff focus groups. The mission of Dakota State University's Alcohol & Other Drug Office remains unchanged: to develop a comprehensive system of resources - offering access to a full continuum of student based services - aimed at reducing the negative and harmful effects that alcohol and other drug use have on student persistence, retention and academic success.
Inquiries regarding our service offerings, confidential consultations about specific issues, or group presentations covering a wide range of subject matter are welcome. Feel free to stop down to the Underground and visit with our any of our caring staff or contact a counselor at (605) 256-5121.

DRUG-FREE SCHOOLS AND CAMPUSES BIENNIAL REVIEW
The U.S. Department of Education Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations require Dakota State University to publish a Biennial Review every two years. The Biennial Review offers a detailed assessment of student alcohol and other drug violations during the period, as well as the relative effectiveness of institutional program interventions designed to address them.
