| Description of Duties | To help plan, organize, and implement the day to day operations of the Community Center After School Program and provide supervision of the children in care. To promote positive customer relations to assure timely, professional and sensitive response to customers and promote services offered through the after school program. Assist with after school program's physical educational activities, arts & crafts, homework, and assist the after school program coordinator as needed. |
| Skills/ Required | The ability to effectively coordinate available resources is essential. The ability to effectively communicate with others, both orally and in writing is essential. Should possess exemplary human relations skills. Must be able to exercise discretion and use sounds judgment in dealing with people. Must be able to enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety of the after school program assistants. |
| Skills/ Preferred | Elementary Education, Human Development or Recreation major are preferred. Sedentary work requiring exertion of up to 10 lbs Of force occasionally and /or a negligible amount of the force frequently. Light lifting of generally 10 lbs or less. Primarily inside work. Must be able to use office equipment such as copier, computer and printer. Must be able to communicate to individuals, small and large groups. Must be able to read, write and do arithmetic. Requires coordinating people and resources, directing and supervising people and evaluating performances. Must be able to present information to others. Must be dependable |

| Description of Duties | Job duties include, but are not limited to, customer service, database entry, answering phones, janitorial duties, fill vending, and supervision of children, childcare, assist patrons with registration of programs, support other departments with clerical help, assist Office Manager with daily and monthly duties, filing and sorting. May work week-days, weekends, holidays, and nights. Dependability is a must! |
| Skills/ Required | Computer knowledge with Microsoft Word and Excel, good communication skills, customer service and must be dependable. Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification is required. The Community Center will provide the training for this certification. |

| Description of Duties | Summary of duties - Under Head Lifeguard and Aquatics Coordinator/Building Supervisor - Responsible for maintaining order and safety in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers. - Caution swimmers in danger of drowning and administer basic first aid when necessary to stabilize victim until Emergency Medical Service can respond. - Maintain order in swimming areas and enforcing pool rules and regulations. - Inspect facilities for cleanliness; pick up rubbish in and around pools and dispose of properly. - Give swimming instructions to all levels(if certification in WSI) - Maintain attendance records for swimming classes and hour attendance. - Ensure that safety equipment is present and at each guard station. - Perform other such duties and functions as are necessary or incidental to the proper performance of this position. |
| Skills/ Required | Qualifications - Work a variety of hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays. - Must be able to pass a background check. |
| Skills/ Preferred | Current American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid Training Certification. Current CPR for the Profession Rescuer. |
