and non-profit organizations. TSS can provide
workshops, consulting and/or direct services in
custom computer programming, computer support,
training, and information assurance.
K-12 Data Center

educational entities to enhance their
technology. The Center offers technology
services to South Dakota's K-12 educational
community including public schools, tech
schools, cooperatives, multi-districts, etc. The
Center provides consistent, cost-effective
services including email and calendars, email
list services, web hosting, course management,

South
Dakota Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)
Center
The SBIR Center helps small
South Dakota businesses, inventors, and
entrepreneurs to access federal funding for
researching and developing new products and
processes. Eleven federal agencies participate
in the SBIR program. Nearly $2.5 billion was
awarded to American-owned small businesses in
2005.
State Technology
Transfer Research (STTR)
A sister program to the
SBIR is the STTR program. This program partners
university researchers with small businesses.
STTR funded research is focused on transferring
technologies developed at universities to the
private sector.
Non-Profit
Management Institute
The Non-Profit Management
Institute (NPMI) helps non-profit organizations
