DSU Student Technology Fellows
Overview
The Technology Fellowship program provides South Dakota students special opportunities to develop professional-level skills in the design and implementation of communications technology for instructional purposes. University policies implementing the Technology Fellowship program will be tailored to achieve these core purposes.
Description
- Assist faculty incorporate technology into their courses
- Assist faculty in the development of Desire2Learn (D2L) designs for a course
- Assist in the production of multimedia course presentations
- Assist in course design and preparation for distance education and alternative delivery classes
- Assist in preparation of classroom for the use of technology in the delivery of the class
Qualifications
- Be a South Dakota resident
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student
- Maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA
- Complete 32 credit hours per academic year
- Work 165 hours per semester including participation in required trainings and meetings
- Limited to 8 semesters
Pay
Each student will be paid an hourly rate sufficient to cover 32 credit hours of tuition and fees by working approximately 11 hours per week during the academic year.
