DSU / SDSU Co-Op Program
Dakota State University offers four-year baccalaureate programs in Elementary Education and Elementary Education / Special Education.
South Dakota State University offers a four-year baccalaureate program in Early Childhood Education. All three programs are approved by the South Dakota Department of Education (DOE) and meet the state requirements for certification. A cooperative agreement between Dakota State University and South Dakota State University allows students completing any of these three programs access to courses and programs at both institutions.
Students have the following options under the DSU / SDSU Co-op agreement:
- Option One: SDSU students receive the Early Childhood Education degree from SDSU and attend DSU for elementary certification only.
