Online Student Loan Counseling
Entrance Loan Counseling
Students who borrow any Federal Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan are required to complete an entrance loan counseling session before they receive their first loan disbursement. This requirement can be completed online at the same web site the master promissory note is completed:
Exit Loan Counseling
Students who borrowed any Federal Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan are required to complete an Exit Loan Counseling session when they graduate, withdraw, or drop below half-time status.
Students must also complete Perkins Loan Exit Counseling if they borrowed a Perkins loan from DSU. This is in addition to the Stafford exit loan counseling above.
