DSU Scholarships

Opportunities for specific DSU scholarships (ex. DSU Transfer Champion, Music, Additional Eligibility, or Athletic), outside organization scholarships, and funding available through scholarship searches, have application dates throughout the year.

DSU Transfer Champion Scholarships are available for the 2013-2014 academic year. Since this scholarship requires continuous post secondary enrollment prior to transferring to DSU during the academic year, be sure to submit the application during your last term of enrollment at your current post-secondary school or, prior to your transfer planned enrollment term at DSU. This scholarship is based upon the completed transfer scholarship application and our review of your final official post-secondary transcript(s) required for your DSU admission as a transfer student. Scholarship Categories

• DSU Athletics Scholarships – DSU Athletics Scholarships web page.
• Freshman Academic Scholarships – Scholarships for incoming freshman and special scholarships for incoming Madison High School graduates.
• Music Scholarships – Scholarships for students who participate in music programs at DSU as well as participating in music programs in High School.
• Additional Eligibility Criteria DSU Scholarships - Scholarships available to students who meet criteria established by scholarship donors (i.e. non-traditional student, full time employed parent,student, hometown, diversity, single parent, medical hardship, etc. Additional application is required for several.
• Transfer Champion Scholarship Application Transfer Champion Scholarship Eligibility - 24 ACT, 3.0 cumulative GPA and continuous full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) at your current post-secondary institution/college. A personal statement is also required along with the application.
