The purpose of this web page is to help you successfully complete your research assignments and projects by leading you to research databases:

- that have a specific type of material (for example, e-books or photographs and other artworks). Use the type of resource section of the "Contents" to find such databases.

Note: If the full-text of an article is not in the database you searched, it may be in print in the library or in another database. Use the Journal Finder to find out if the journal is available at the Library. If not, request a copy through Interlibrary Loan. Distance students may request any item which is not full-text online.

Description: Indexes journal articles and other documents in the field of education and is the premier database for education professionals. Journal articles are assigned identifier numbers that begin EJ, and documents are assigned identifiers that begin with ED. ERIC documents (ED) are typically reports or books.
If searching ERIC in EBSCOhost (Location 1 above), the full articles in many journals will be accessible along with full access to most ERIC documents. If searching ERIC on the ed.gov website (Location 2 above) journal articles found will typically have abstracts (summaries) but not the full articles. Journal articles identified in ERIC may be found in other full-text databases of the Mundt Library, in print at the library, or may be requested through Interlibrary Loan from the library. Most ERIC documents are available full-text through links directly from the ERIC Database.
