Journal articles are assigned identifier numbers that begin EJ, and documents are assigned identifiers that begin with ED. ERIC documents (ED) are typically reports or books.
If searching ERIC in EBSCOhost (Location 1 above), the full articles in many journals will be accessible along with full access to most ERIC documents. If searching ERIC on the ed.gov website (Location 2 above) journal articles found will typically have abstracts (summaries) but not the full articles. Journal articles identified in ERIC may be found in other full-text databases of the Mundt Library, in print at the library, or may be requested through Interlibrary Loan from the library.
