Reserve Library Rooms and Areas

Instructions

The Library accepts reservation requests for rooms and spaces on the first and second floor of the Library building. Requests to use the Mundt Foundation (basement level) must be made directly with the Karl E. Mundt Foundation office.

  • Library Room Reservation Request Form (use only for requesting
    first and second floor space reservations)

  • Mundt Foundation (lower, basement level of library) may be reserved by contacting Bonnie Olson in the Karl E. Mundt Foundation office via phone at (605) 256-5211 or by email

  • Lab & Room Calendar (to find out if Library's first and second floor rooms have already been reserved) NOTE: The Mundt Foundation (basement level) is not included in the Library's room calendar.

Room Descriptions

The following rooms and spaces on the first and second floors are available for use and must be reserved in advance.

  • Room 201.
    Located on the second floor; contains 6-person tables; seats up to 50 people. Has whiteboard, screen, wireless computer/video projector, DVD player, and VCR.
    When not being used for a class or event, this room may be used for practicing presentations or studying. Check out the remotes for the equipment at the Library's main desk. To reserve, complete and submit the Library Room Reservation Request Form.

  • 2nd floor Open Classroom.
    Located at the top of the front stairway, this classroom without walls has 6-person tables; seats up to 36 people. Has screen, wireless computer projector, and portable whiteboard. The remote for the projector may be checked out from the Library's main desk. To reserve, complete and submit the Library Room Reservation Request Form.

  • 1st floor Open Classroom.
    Located on the first floor in the northwest corner, it is a classroom without walls; seats 24-30 people; has screen, wireless computer projector, and portable whiteboard. Remote for the projector is checked out from the Library's main desk. To reserve, complete and submit the Library Room Reservation Request Form.

  • Other spaces.
    For special arrangements, contact the Director (Ethelle Bean).
