Description and instructions for access

WorldCat is a worldwide library catalog. The database describes over 41 million books and other materials (videocassettes, CDs, etc.) in libraries worldwide, and includes the library catalog of Dakota State University (DSU). To obtain items identified in WorldCat that are not available at DSU, request Interlibrary Loan.

Access Mundt Library resources in WorldCat:

  • Library Catalog in WorldCat - Restricted - to find library-owned and library-subscribed e-books, print books, audiobooks, and DVDs. If off-campus, login will be required.
  • Search (almost) Everything - Restricted - to find journal articles, books, e-books, and more by searching many library research databases at one time (library catalog, Ebscohost, Proquest, ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore, and more!) If off-campus, login will be required.

Access worldwide resources in WorldCat:

  • Use the Library Catalog in WorldCat - Restricted. Change the library being searched from "Dakota State University" to "Libraries worldwide."
  • Alternatives:
