Delivery methods
Courses in the MBA program are only offered face to face at the University Center in Sioux Falls, SD. To maximize the relationships between faculty-student-business partners, the courses will be taught face-to-face primarily using lecture/discussion/small group instructional methods and case study methods. Instruction will be supplemented with D2L courseware, Camtasia, and Elluminate. Courses in the MBA program are offered using the instructional delivery method below:
- Face-to-face in a traditional classroom setting on site at the University Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
Program completion
Students with undergraduate business degree:
It is expected that, on average, students will enroll part-time and will complete 18 credits per academic year (two 3-credit courses in fall, spring, and summer each year) and therefore will need two years to graduate (18 credits x 2 years = 36 credits).
Students without an undergraduate business degree:
Students without an undergraduate business degree may be required to complete up to four foundation courses (12 credits). It is expected that, on average, students will enroll part-time and will complete the foundation classes the first academic year (four 3-credit foundation classes in two terms) and then complete 18 credits per academic year (two 3-credit courses in fall, spring, and summer each year) of the program-specific courses and graduate in three years.
