The Dakota State University Men’s Basketball team volunteered on a Habitat for Humanity project in Madison September 6. The team helped set up for a fundraising concert.

This is the second year the team has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. They spent the day setting up tents, moving furniture, installing crowd control fence and setting up the stage. 17 member of the team along with Head Coach Wade Kooiman and Assistant Head Coach Orion Thompson worked with the owners of the Hope Studio in setting up.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that builds houses together in partnership with families in need. Since its founding in 1979, Habitat for Humanity has build and rehabilitated over 250,000 homes worldwide.
