DSU Professor Recognized at Juried Art Exhibit

DSU associate professor Tom Jones earned first place honors in the Tenth Annual Horse Barn Arts Center Juried Exhibit. This is the second year Jones has earned first place at the exhibit.
Jones’ photograph, entitled “Abstract #1,” was deemed the top by the judges for its “play of complimentary colors, rendering the ordinary beautiful."
There were 94 entries in the exhibit, with 34 submissions ultimately chosen for judging in three categories; 2-dimensional art, 3-dimensional art, and photography. One top place winner was chosen in each of the categories.
