DSU's Parpart Leads State Association

Dakota State University's Director of Student Activities and Residence Hall Director, Mandy Parpart, has been named President of the South Dakota College Personnel Association (SDCPA.)

Parpart had previously served a two-year term as an at-large representative for SDCPA.

The South Dakota College Personnel Association was founded in 1972.

The goal of SDCPA is to provide continued leadership in addressing issues and trends in higher education and professional education programs to promote student development and learning. The organization is made up of student affairs professionals and graduate students in South Dakota.

Parpart has been with Dakota State since 2002. She earned her degree undergraduate degree at St. Cloud State University and her masters degree at Minnesota State Moorhead. Some of her current job duties include advising the Student Activities Board, coordinating New Student Orientation, assisting with Summer Conferencing, and managing Emry Hall and the 8-Plex apartments.

She will serve a one year term as President of SDCPA.
