Dakota State Volleyball Coach Resigns

Dakota State University Head Volleyball Coach Cynthia Henning has resigned her position.

Henning has been at DSU since 2000. She has accepted a position as an assistant volleyball coach at South Dakota State University.

The University will conduct a national search to fill the head volleyball position according to DSU Athletic Director Gene Wockenfuss. "Coach Henning's provided strong leadership to the Trojan Volleyball team and we wish her well in her new endeavor," said Wockenfuss.

Henning led the Trojan Volleyball team to the NAIA National Region quarterfinals in 2003 and the semifinals in 2004. Prior to coming to DSU Henning was the head volleyball coach at Sioux Falls Washington High School.
