DAD Camp registration to close July 2

Registration closes for the Dakota State University High School Digital Arts Camp on Friday, July 2.  The digital arts camp, for students entering 9th -12th grades, offers courses in digital photography, digital storytelling, animation, audio production, graphic design and web design.   Dates for the camp are Sunday, July 25 to Friday, July 30.

Camp coordinator Susan Conover and other DSU digital arts faculty are excited about the camp.  "We are really happy to be offering the camp for the first time this year.  We've got local students coming, as well as kids from all over the state.  We even have someone coming from Alaska!"

Campers choose a week long morning class and afternoon class, with recreational activities and computer lab work in the evening.  The camp will culminate in a public presentation of the students' work on the last day.  Participants may choose to stay in the dorm or commute.

Course descriptions, registration information and fees can be found on the web at:  or there is a link to the camp website on the DSU webpage at   or contact Susan Conover at 605-256-2186.
