Young Entrepreneur Expert Coming to DSU Campus
Entrepreneur Tyler Olson is coming to the Dakota State University campus September 28 to speak to students on social media and networking. Olson founded HelpMeTy.com Inc in 2006 out of his dorm room at the University of St Thomas in Saint Paul, MN, and has since gone on to garner national status as an expert in technology related entrepreneurism. Olson's presentation will be at 1:00pm in the auditorium of the Tunheim Classroom Building.
Olson's presentation is sponsored by the Sales and Marketing Executives Group from Sioux Falls, and American Eagle Airlines. America Eagle Airlines will give away two round trip tickets to visit the American Airlines headquarters in Texas as part of the event.
HelpMeTy.com Inc. grew out of the numerous calls Olson would get from friends asking for help with technology issues. After a year of running the business out of his dorm room, Olson expanded to office space, and continues to grow, offering computer repair, outsources IT services, and websites for many small business and individuals.
