Montgomery participates in Take the Day
The public will get a rare look at the creative process when 30 artists gather at the Washington Pavilion next week for an event titled Take the Day. The artists will be creating an original work during the day. The finished works will be on display at the Pavilion for 8-weeks.
DSU associate professor of art Alan Montgomery, and assistant professor Giles Timms of the College of Arts and Sciences are participating in Take the Day.
The event runs from 10am-8pm Saturday, November 13, and is free and open to the public. A reception at 6pm will feature Christian Zamora and Kathryn Hufnagle of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra performing Opus 7 of Zoltan Kodaly's Duo for violin and cello.
