DSU students exhibit at Washington Pavilion
The University Invitational exhibition returns to the Washington Pavilion Visual Arts Center (WPVAC) with works from several Dakota State students. The exhibition displays work from 10 colleges and universities in South Dakota and opens Friday, Dec. 16 with a reception from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
DSU faculty coordinator for the event, Alan Montgomery, asked faculty to select strong student work to submit to the exhibition. Each artist submits up to three works of art for consideration for inclusion in the exhibit and at least one of the artworks per invited artist is included in the exhibition.
Students selected from DSU include: Margaret Pillatzki, from Milbank, S.D., Amanda Deprez from Westbrook-Windom, Minn., Tyler Wall from Aberdeen, S.D., Michelle Davis from Warren, Conn., and Bethany Mlady from Mount Vernon, S.D.
The exhibition features the students' artwork until Feb. 12.
