According to GetEducated.com, http://www.geteducated.com, an online education consumer research group that publishes online school rankings, Dakota State University, Madison, South Dakota, ranks #7 as offering the most affordable online bachelor's degrees in the healthcare majors area.
DSU's Online Bachelor of Science Health Information Administration ranked as the #7 Best Buy for online students nationwide in GetEducated.com's recent affordability survey of regionally accredited online college degree programs for health professionals.
Online students nationwide will pay an estimated cost of about $32,500 for the Online Bachelor of Science Health Information Administration.
By comparison, the most expensive online health bachelors in the online education survey, a Bachelor's of Science Health Services Administration, came from Berkeley College, a private, for-profit, West Virginia university. GetEducated.com's online bachelor degree affordability rankings for healthcare professionals were based on a review of 22 online universities (regionally accredited) that offer 32 different online healthcare bachelor degrees in career areas such as healthcare management, health administration, medical records informatics, dietetics, sports health, and nutrition.
According to the GetEducated.com online degree rankings team the average cost, tuition and distance education fees included, for an accredited bachelor's degree program in healthcare is $45,600.
Dakota State University is a residential, state, non-profit educational system, founded in 1881. DSU was originally chartered to train teachers in the Dakota Territory in the late 19th century.
