DSU faculty member designs website for Prairie Village
Nathan Edwards, a digital arts and design faculty member with the Dakota State University College of Arts and Science, recently finished a complete redesign of the website for Prairie Village. The project was overseen by Prairie Village manager, Stan Rauch, as well as University Sponsored Programs Director, Mickie Kreidler. The site was also built with the assistance of Prairie Village board member Robert Gehringer, who currently serves as the webmaster.
The contributors from the university saw the project as a fantastic opportunity to provide their skills in order to benefit the community. "Many months of hard work have resulted in a modern, inviting, and easy to navigate website," said Edwards. The project was completed mid-summer, in time for a busy season of events, including the Steam Threshing Jamboree during the weekend of August 26th. Visit the new site at www.prairievillage.org.
