Survey measures student satisfaction
Results are positive for Dakota State University students participating in a survey by Noel-Levitz, Inc.
The survey rated, among other things, students' satisfaction with their computer skills, billing and payment procedures, and computing and network services. All ranked high. Students were also satisfied with WebAdvisor, and D2L, an online tool for access to assignments, grades, messages and other information.
Students were also asked to rate the importance of factors influencing their decision to enroll in an online course at DSU. The majority of respondents listed convenience, flexibility and cost as most important.
Noel-Levitz, Inc. is a higher education consulting firm. Their survey was directed at students taking 100% of their classes online, with the results from the 112 DSU students compared to over 84,000 students nationwide.
