Association for Information Systems invites DSU students to Doctoral Consortium

Two of DSU’s doctoral candidates in the D.Sc. Information Systems program, Carl Janzen and Todd Little, have been invited to attend the Doctoral Consortium at the 2012 Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS 2012) to be held on August 9th in Seattle, Wash. Dakota State assistant professor for information systems, Dr. Amit Deokar, serves as their dissertation chair. Janzen and Little will be part of about 30 doctoral candidates selected to attend the consortium from the Americas region of the Association of Information Systems (AIS).

The consortium provides a unique experience to the doctoral students as they will be advised by ten to twelve renowned faulty in the information systems discipline. The consortium is organized around teaching, research and job search strategies.
