“New Shoe 4 You” debuts at First Bank & Trust Gallery
The First Bank & Trust Gallery in the Karl E. Mundt Library and Learning Commons welcomes T.J. Donovan and his solo exhibition, “New Shoe 4 You”. Donovan will be at the gallery on Friday, April 13th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the debut of his exhibition. Donovan, a Sioux Falls native and USD graduate, is a Master of Fine Arts candidate in painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
Donovan organized the annual "Take the Day" event at the Washington Pavilion Art Center two years ago, which has generated immense community attendance and patronage in Sioux Falls. Donovan offers up his first solo exhibition since beginning graduate school. Donovan’s work will also be available for sale with a price list in the gallery.
A prepared catalog with essays by Jeff Freeman, professor emeritus of painting at USD, and Chicago based artist and director of Manifest Exhibitions, Josh Reames, will also be available on request. Linn Nelson, DSU assistant professor of art, designed the catalogs. For more information on the exhibition or catalogs, please call 605-256-5847.
