24th Annual DSU Blue & Gold Golf Classic scheduled for June 1

The 24th Annual Dakota State University Blue & Gold Golf Classic is scheduled for June 1 at the Madison Country Club.  Registration deadline is May 25, limited to the first 36 teams.

The golf classic kicks off with registration at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12 p.m.  The cost for the classic is $100 per golfer, which includes golfing, cart, boxed lunch and dinner.  The format is a four-person scramble.  Individual awards include closest to the hole, longest drive, and much more.  A couple of new prizes have been added including the money ball and the skins game. DSU Athletics would like to thank Great Western Bank for sponsoring a one million dollar ($1,000,000) shot for some lucky golfer.  DSU Athletics is also grateful to Prostrollo All-American Auto Mall for sponsoring a hole-in-one prize which includes a two-year lease on a car.

The Blue & Gold Golf Classic is an annual fundraising event that provides scholarship opportunities for DSU student-athletes. All money raised during the Golf Classic goes to athletic scholarships.
