DSU Halloween Community Events
Dakota State University invites children of all ages to attend two DSU Halloween events this year. The annual Haunted House, sponsored by SIFE, is Oct. 25 – 27 from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. at the 4-H grounds on South Egan Avenue in Madison, S.D.
DSU night at the Haunted House is Thursday, Oct. 25. Admission for DSU students/faculty/staff is $5. Attendees will get a $1 off admission with a donation of a non-perishable food item, maximum of two donation items allowed per person.
Friday and Saturday night are open to the public and cost to attend is $7 for adults and $5 for ages 10 and under. Attendees will get a $1 off admission with a donation of a non-perishable food item, maximum of two donation items allowed per person. The Haunted House Free Kid’s Day takes place Sat., Oct. 27 from noon – 2 p.m. with face painting, costume contest, and games.
On Wed., Oct. 31, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. the DSU residence hall association is sponsoring trick or treating for area youth and their chaperones. Tour the floors of Emry, Richardson, Zimmermann and Higbie halls and receive treats from the residents participating in the program. The students of DSU look forward to seeing you soon!
