DSU Halloween Community Events
Dakota State University invites you to two DSU Halloween events this year.
The DSU Enactus, formerly known as SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise), Haunted House is in its fifth year. This year, the haunted house has doubled in size and offers even more scares than years before, including a room sponsored by the DSU drama club.
The haunted house will be open to the public Oct. 24-26 from 7:00:00 to 11:00 p.m., at the 4-H grounds located on South Egan Ave. in Madison, S.D. DSU Night will be Thursday, October 24. The entrance fee for DSU students, faculty and staff will be two products for a SHEO Kit, find list of items at mysheo.org, or $2, on Thursday night only. All other nights or persons require a $5 entrance fee. Like last year, part of the proceeds from the haunted house will go to the Children’s Miracle Network.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Free Kids Day will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will include games sponsored by 4-H members and a photo booth sponsored by the DSU Photography club.
On Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5:00 to7:00 p.m., the DSU residence hall association is sponsoring trick or treating for area youth and their chaperones. Tour the floors of Emry, Richardson, Zimmermann and Higbie halls and receive treats from the residents participating in the program.
