Hesser to present at Technology and Innovation in Education conference
Bradley Hesser, DSU assistant professor of computer graphics, will present at the Technology and Innovation in Education (TIE) conference in April. The TIE conference starts Sunday, April 21, and runs through Tuesday, April 23, at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, S.D.
Hesser’s breakout session, called “Buzztouch: Homegrown Mobile Applications Made Easy,” will introduce classroom teachers to the Buzztouch Online Control panel for mobile applications. During the session, the audience will learn easy ways to create mobile applications that can be deployed to iOS and Android operating systems for student use.
According to the conference website, the TIE Conference is the largest S.D. event with the specific focus of presenting teaching materials, instructional practices, and technology applications to school administrators, teachers, computer coordinators, librarians, and media specialists.
