Jones and Hesser in 33rd Annual Open Photography Exhibition
DSU professors Thomas Jones, associate professor of art, and Bradley Hesser, assistant professor of computer graphics, are currently exhibiting their photography in the Brookings Arts Council’s 33rd Annual Open Photography Exhibition. The show opened Jan. 9th, and runs through Jan. 25th.
Hesser speaks on why he submitted his artwork, "This show gives me an opportunity to get my work into the Brookings area and also to showcase some of my talents to a different audience. This also gives me a chance to evaluate my work alongside that of my peers.”
For Jones, the Brookings Arts Council’s juried show has always been a favorite. “I like to exhibit my photography locally so that people get a chance to see my work that is also exhibited outside the state. The Brookings juried show has been a favorite of mine because it brings photographers from all over the region.”
The exhibit is in the Brookings Arts Council Building located at 524 4th Street, Brookings, S.D., and the hours are 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
The closing reception for the show is Friday, Jan. 25th, 25th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
