DSU artists participate in Studio 301 at Washington Pavilion
Four DSU faculty members will be moving their studios to the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, S.D. this weekend. On Saturday, October 26, Angela Behrends, Alan Montgomery, Giles Timms and Cassie Edwards make up part of the 43 artists that will have around 12 hours to complete a work of art at Studio 301.
The artists are not only displaying their work, but they essentially put themselves on display while working on their projects. The public is invited to come and watch the artist’s creative process throughout the day, starting at 10:00am.
Along with the opportunity to watch the artists work, the Pavilion holds a public reception and silent auction at 7:00pm with bid winners announced at 9:00pm. The event is free to attend and activities for kids will also be held throughout the day.
