Baby Mountain concert held at DSU to air on SDPB Radio

On Nov. 10, 2013, Chicago-based acoustic musicians Karima Walker and Tim Lowly performed a concert with special guest and DSU Audio Production professor Nathan Edwards as a part of the musical group, “Baby Mountain”. Karima Walker opened with a solo set, followed by the group performance of all-original songs. Concert-goers were treated to the group’s eclectic and ethereal sound that is both soulful and whimsical.

The concert was presented by DSU Live, the College of Arts & Sciences and the Madison Area Arts Council. It was also produced and recorded by students in the DSU Audio Production program.

The show will air on the South Dakota Public Broadcasting Radio program, “No Cover, No Minimum,” on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 11 p.m. SDPB radio can be heard across the state on FM radio, or streaming online at the SDPB radio website: http://listen.sdpb.org/programs/no-cover-no-minimum-radio
