Spohn speaks at National HIM Symposium
Renae Spohn, assistant professor at Dakota State University, and Dr. Dorine Bennett, professor and director of health information management programs at DSU, recently attended the 2014 Assembly on Education Symposium/Faculty Development Institute held in Chicago.
The annual symposium is the premier conference for health information educators and the primary forum for leadership in health information management education, with more than 400 attendees at this year’s conference.
Spohn not only attended this year’s event, but also presented. Her talk focused on a presentation she created for DSU's Faculty Research Initiative 2014, "The Self-Assessment Process and Impacts on the HIM Program Performance: A Case Study.”
