Custodial Operations
The Physical Plant manages the care of academic buildings and residence halls. Custodian and facility workers tasks in managed areas include cleaning offices, restrooms, and classrooms daily; removing trash, vacuuming carpets, buffing floors and carpet shampooing.
Concerns regarding custodial care should be channeled through the deans/department heads. Buildings scheduled for use after working hours and holidays require a request for custodial overtime to Pat Keating, Director of Physical Plant, 256-5223 from the group needing custodial assistance.
