My name is Keith Bundy and this is my guide dog, Brandon. I was born and raised in southern Indiana and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Evansville in 1978. I received a master's degree in student development from Indiana State University in 1980. After working for four years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, I entered pastoral ministry with the Church of the Nazarene
and received a bachelor's degree in philosophy and religion from Indiana Wesleyan university in 1986.
I pastored the Olive branch Church of the Nazarene in northeastern Indiana for four years and moved to Madison
, SD
, in 1989, becoming the pastor at the Madison Church of the Nazarene. I still pastor this church. In 1993 I became a braillist at Chester High School. In 1997 I became a computer instructor at the South Dakota Rehabilitation Center for the Blind, a division of South Dakota Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired
. I was employed as an instructor and team leader at the Rehabilitation Center until August, 2000, when I became Director of Student Development at Dakota State University.
I am married to the real Peg Bundy, and have four sons ages 15-23. I am co-President of the South Dakota Association of the Blind
and a member of the American Council of the Blind
. I also do training in assistive technology for the blind in my spare time with a company known as Dakotalink
