Dakota State University: "Celebrating Superheroes Since 1881"
Our homecoming parade took place Saturday, September 24th. The Parade Committee was happy to see our colleges, departments, offices, clubs, and local businesses represented. We saw just about everything; cars, people walking with banners, floats, motorcycles, horses, elephants/lions/tigers and bears, 4-wheelers, etc.
The homecoming theme this year was "Celebrating Superheroes Since 1881." The terms "superhero" does not only include Superman and Batman, but also our teachers, police officers, and the men and women that serve in the military. No matter who you see as a superhero, our hope was that this concept brought our community together for another successful homecoming celebration.
