Loft Information
Every room in our four traditional halls is furnished with two (2) complete loft kits and mattresses. These kits allow the occupant to determine what height they would like to place their mattress. Assembly is very easy and only requires the use of a rubber mallet to tap the mattress platform in place.
***DSU housing provides a supply of rubber mallets during move-in days.***

Loft Arrangement 1 |
Lofted bed with the mattress platform placed in the highest position. Usable space between headboards is approximately 79" in length and will vary slightly from one unit to the next. |

Headboard Notches |
Each headboard has a series of these notches from top to bottom which allows the user to choose mattress height. |

Loft Headboard |
Each headboard measures 72" in height and will accommodate a 36" or 39" wide mattress depending on hall location. |

Platform Anchor |
This is a picture of the end of the mattress platform that slips over the notches in the headboard to anchor the entire unit together. |
