Preparation + opportunity = success

That's the DSU equation. We're a four-year university with nationally recognized programs, cutting-edge facilities, and the brightest thinkers. But we're also a tight-knit, inclusive community. Small class sizes mean hands-on training and individualized attention. All this with an affordable, public school price that's among the best values in the region.

Alan Montgomery artwork on display in London

June 8, 2015

As part of “The Map is Not the Territory” touring art exhibition, DSU professor, Alan Montgomery, will have his artwork on display at the P21 Gallery in London from June 12 through July 25, 2015. His drawings are part of a series called, Irish History Lessons, and are created with the use of charcoal, graphite, oil stick and gesso.

Along with Montgomery, 38 other contemporary artists, most of them Palestinian, Native American and Irish, explore the profound specific and unusual intersections between the three cultures with original paintings, photographs, prints, drawings, artist books, and films. They consider such topics as conflict, resistance, land, food, diaspora, identity, and persistence.
