Delta Mu Delta inducts three new members

May 7, 2018

Dakota State University’s Delta Mu Delta Gamma Xi chapter has inducted three new members. Inductees include: John Trout, a sophomore from Prescott Valley, Arizona; Dalee Sybrant, a junior from Crystal, Minn.; and Paulina Zach, a junior from Sunalki, Poland.

An international business honor society, Delta Mu Delta recognizes and encourages the academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities. Gamma Xi chapter has been an on-campus group at DSU since 1979.

All business administration majors, including accounting, business technology, finance, management and marketing are considered for the membership. To be chosen for this honor, students must attain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have completed at least half of the courses needed to obtain a bachelor of business administration (BBA) degree.

Zach was also elected to serve as DMD’s vice president, and will be the group’s homecoming queen candidate; Trout will be the group’s Homecoming king candidate. DSU’s 2018 Homecoming is planned for Sept. 29.
