DSU art students win Beadlemania awards

Several Dakota State University student artists were honored at an April 26 artists’ reception held in the First Bank & Trust Gallery on the DSU campus.

Madison Central School District art instructors Holly Evans and Ginny Freitag were the jurors for the annual Beadlemania juried art exhibition. Beadle Hall is home to the College of Arts and Sciences at DSU.

Freitag said the pieces showed a “great diversity of work,” including photographs, two- and three-dimension artworks, wire sculptures, pottery and videos.
