“Look Homeward, Angel” to hit the stage

The Dakota State University spring play, “Look Homeward, Angel,” will take over Dakota Prairie Playhouse from March 17-20. The combination of DSU and community actors are sure to keep the audience entertained.

The story is set in a boarding house in Altamont, North Carolina, which thrives to operate after Eliza, the mother, attempts to control her family to keep the boarders happy. Her husband has other intentions, as he pushes to sculpt the perfect angel. The youngest son, Eugene, dreams of college and to be a writer. When his train comes, will he be on it? This tragic comedy will keep you thinking while enjoying the relatable, little things, in life.?

The show runs Thursday, March 17 through Saturday, March 19 at 7 p.m. and a matinee on Sunday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m. Because of aggressive language, the show is appropriate for ages 12 and up.
