Online Learning Committee Charter

I. COMMITTEE MISSION

The mission of the Online Advisory Committee is to advise the Director of Online Learning on issues pertaining to the academic quality of online courses and online programs and the success of students taking online courses and online programs.

II. COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP AND APPOINTMENTS

The Committee is comprised of voting and non-voting members, and membership is explicitly identified in by-laws to include:

  • Director of Online Learning (Chair, Nature of Office)

  • State Authorization Coordinator

  • One (1) online program professional advisor

  • One (1) faculty member, elected from the Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences

  • One (1) faculty member, elected from the College of Arts and Sciences

  • One (1) faculty member, elected from the College of Business and Information Systems

  • One (1) faculty member, elected from the College of Education

  • One (1) staff member from the Center for Teaching and Learning

  • One (1) dean
