Preparation + opportunity = success

That's the DSU equation. We're a four-year university with nationally recognized programs, cutting-edge facilities, and the brightest thinkers. But we're also a tight-knit, inclusive community. Small class sizes mean hands-on training and individualized attention. All this with an affordable, public school price that's among the best values in the region.

Video about International Studies at Dakota State University

DSU has students from over 52 countries that bring their experiences, talents, and individual perspectives to create a rich, diverse community at DSU, both in and out of the classroom.

“Coming to DSU was one of the best decisions that I’ve ever made. We have a very large and united international community, we’re always getting together and planning events. Between all the universities I looked at, DSU was one with the best benefits: the program, teachers, teaching method, size, community and cost.”
