Day of Service
DSU's Day of Service is the university's annual celebration of service, with Trojans banding together each year to give back to the local community. What began almost a decade ago as a single day, has now grown into an ongoing call to action for service activities spanning environmental clean-ups around campus and the community, and organizing the library and food pantry. Everyone has something to offer, and everyone is welcome to participate.

About #RISEUP: A Day of Giving Back
DSU Day of Giving connects Trojans from around the globe, connecting and uniting all to support our great institution. This is an annual event on the Thursday of DSU homecoming week where we call upon the Trojan community to come together in service through projects and support through investment in Dakota State.
This 12-hour event connects us all through an online day of giving. Be sure to show your Trojan Pride and RISE UP with us throughout the day - and check out the challenges and matches happening over the 12 hours. Go Trojans!
Homecoming Day Parade
A tradition on the DSU campus is the annual Homecoming Parade and Trojan Days events. Join hundreds of students, faculty, alumni, community members, and families on Egan Avenue September 16, 2023 to watch, or take part in the parade before the big game.
Trojans Host Valley City State for Homecoming 2023
The Dakota State University Trojan football team will host Valley City State for this years homecoming game. Tailgating begins at 12:00 p.m. west of the Dan Beacom Track Complex, with the Game starting at 4:00 p.m., at the Dan Beacom Track Complex.

Come back to Madison and participate in our Trojan Day Events. As always we encourage all Alumni and Friends to come back for homecoming; however, this year we have three different groups (73 Football Team, 1973 Graduates, 1975-1985 all sports reunion) for which we are holding special activities.
